Minnetonka Center for the Arts is inviting holiday shoppers to support the talents of local artists with its Arts of the Holidays Show and Sale. A grand opening for the annual show is 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Laura H. Miles Gallery at Minnetonka Center for the Arts, 2240 North Shore Dr., Wayzata. Guests are invited to shop and meet some of the artists while enjoying snacks and a cash bar.
A private preview party is also being offered for shoppers who want first pick of the extensive artwork selection. This event will be held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. Tickets are available by calling 952-473-7361, ext. 16, or by going to minnetonkaarts.org/new/exhibits.htm. Ticket proceeds support the Minnetonka Center for the Arts’ mission.
Featuring more than 120 artists, the art show and sale offers a juried collection of unique handmade art and fine craft items. The selection includes pottery, glass, textiles, wood, photography, painting, sculptures, jewelry and more.
Hours for the Arts of the Holiday Show and Sale are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
In addition, art collectors will find an expanding selection of artwork displayed throughout Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka that is also available for purchase.
The Arts of the Holidays Show and Sale runs through Wednesday, Dec. 23.
