Minnetonka Center for the Arts invites holiday shoppers and art collectors to the grand opening of the annual Arts of the Holidays Show and Sale 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at 2240 North Shore Dr., Wayzata.
Each year, the Lake Minnetonka-based nonprofit arts organization decks the halls of the Laura H. Miles Gallery with work from more than 100 artists, many of whom are local to the area.
The collection of unique handmade art and fine craft items, which have been priced by the artists for gift giving, includes pottery, glass, textiles, wood, photography, painting, sculptures and jewelry.
The holiday show runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, until Friday, Dec. 22.
A private preview and early shopping party featuring hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, live music, prizes and more is 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8. Tickets are $25 and support the art center. To purchase a ticket, visit minnetonkaarts.org/arts-of-the-holidays-show-and-sale.
