In Menagerie: Animals in Art, you will see depictions of animals. From familiar to exotic, primitive to stylized, and naturalistic to personified. Animals have populated art since the beginning of image-making, testifying to our perpetual fascination with Earth’s other inhabitants. Menagerie: Animals in Art explores a variety of approaches to the use of animals in art, whether as subject or as inspiration, in a variety of media and styles.
