The Art Center Café provides pleasant respite for students before or after class and a delicious,
affordable dining destination for all visitors. Chef Melinda Alves offers a different menu each week,
including soup, salad, sandwiches and hot entree along with fresh baked goods each day.
Star Tribune food writer Rick Nelson recently enjoyed lunch at the Art Center Café and included it in a
July 9 Taste feature you may read here: Summer dining served on the shores of Lake Minnetonka.
The Art Center Café is easy to get to yet provides a wonderful getaway experience, just one exit and one
turn from 394 (only a few minutes west of Ridgedale Center). Combine lunch with a stroll through the
gallery, peek into the art studios and browse in the Art Center Shop. Enjoy original artwork always on
display throughout the building.
Other nearby attractions include the Noerenberg Memorial County Park just down the road and the
Dakota Bike Trail one block away.
The Art Center Café is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m
