JOB TITLE: Independent Contractor / Summer Camp Play Director
Application deadlines for Summer Arts Camp Play Director 2008:

Work Schedule:
Summer Arts Camp classes take place at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts Monday-Fridays June 9 – August 22 from 9:30am – 3:30pm. Instructors (including the Play Director) are expected to be at the Art Center by 9:15am to set-up their classrooms and prepare for the days activities. Many instructors are at the Art Center setting-up by 9:00am. After classes end instructors (including the Play Director) are expected to clean-up their rooms, return furniture to its original format and put-away materials. The Art Center has many classes throughout the day and we need to leave our studio spaces in a suitable and functional state for other classes.
Summer Arts Camp Schedule:
9:30AM – 12:00PM Morning Session
12:00PM – 1:00PM LUNCH
1:00PM – 3:30PM Afternoon Session
Art Center Regular Business hours:
Monday, Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm
Tuesday - Thursday from 9:00am – 9:00pm
Saturdays from 9:00am – 1:00pm
Compensation: Play Director pay is $20.00 per contact hour (hours actually teaching). Payment is received after the class has ended and contract agreement is fulfilled. Other instructor perks include; invitations to Art Center special events and exhibitions, opportunity to exhibit in galleries at the Art Center, opportunity to sell work in our retail space, free parking, and the experience of being a part of a professional and reputable art center.
Note: Instructors must have reliable transportation.
