GIFT SALE
ARTS OF THE HOLIDAYS

November 20 – December 23, 2008
Opening Reception, Thursday, Nov. 20, 6-9 PM
Laura H. Miles Gallery
Open to the public

The planning for the 2008 holiday sale is well underway. The search for new and unique handcrafted gifts and accessories has been going on for weeks – and this year promises to be bigger and better than before, with different artisans and great gift items. Enjoy the festivities of the opening reception and get first pick of the hundreds of handcrafted items. As usual, we will replenish the display areas as work sells.

We select work based on creativity, craftsmanship and value: Jewelry, ceramics, glass, multimedia, wood, sculpture, paintings, drawings, fiber, furniture, photos, cards and Holiday ornaments. We will have an amazing selection to choose from!

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY

We hate to cancel classes, and we know you dislike cancellation calls from the Art Center, but we need to make a decision about a week before a session begins as to whether to run a class or not. Unfortunately, we get several calls after a class has been cancelled, so please help us deliver better service by registering early to secure your space in a class.

Registrations will be accepted after a class has begun if space permits and with the permission of the instructor.
Tuition is not pro-rated for students who enroll late.

Registrations are date stamped and classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis, so call us or send your form in right away.

Registration Form
Go to the CLASSES page and click on the Registration Form PDF.
Print the form and mail or fax it to the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.
Or call us at 952.473.7361, ext. 16. We can take your registration over the phone, or we can send you a free catalog and registration form in the mail.

FAMILY WORKSHOPS FALL 2008

Our Family Workshops are planned to fit busy schedules; provide fun, meaningful, art education experiences; make the visual arts increasingly accessible to the community; and provide unique, constructive learning opportunities to kids and parents. Families, schools, and community groups can collaborate with the Art Center on creating special events, series classes, and workshops focusing on the visual arts for any educational need.

Please contact Leah Hughes, Children & Youth Program Director, if you have an idea for a special event or class you’d like to schedule: 952.473.7361, ext. 26
