The Minnetonka Center for the Arts is a non-profit community based organization providing affordable instruction in the visual arts. Founded in 1952, the Art Center has been offering community and educational access to Minnesotans throughout the western suburbs, Twin Cities, and beyond. Our students gain knowledge and appreciation of the arts through hands-on studio instruction and special events. We offer high-quality visual arts programming to children ages 5-12, teens and adults of all ages with varying interests, abilities, and levels of experience.

The Minnetonka Center for the Arts would like to extend an invitation to your school, organization, or group to participate in one, two, three or more of our many high-quality educational opportunities. These options include; ongoing series classes for children, teens and adults, family workshops, tours, lectures, special events, school programs, an Art After School program, a Summer Arts Camp, and numerous exhibitions throughout the year. The Art Center offers educational opportunities year round, six days a week, daytime and evening in drawing; painting; sculpture in stone, clay and bronze; woodworking; wheel thrown and hand built ceramics; fiber arts; photography; paper arts; bookmaking; printmaking; glass and associated arts.

In consultation with your school, organization or group, the Art Center will develop interesting projects, courses, and special events to challenge, stimulate, inspire, and intrigue students of all ages. We offer basic through advanced level courses for both single and multiple class options. Our instructors are qualified and creative local artists, teaching artists, and art educators who are contemporary and active in their fields. Our instructors exhibit widely across the Twin Cities Metropolitan area, state, and region. The Minnetonka Center for the Arts is a state-of-the-art facility with specialized studios, and we can accommodate small and large groups. So bring your family, friends, co-workers, grade level, or entire school to explore and create art at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.

Come see what the Minnetonka Center for the Arts has to offer you.
